For Funders

The Wisconsin Center for Education Research is an established and proven grant partner. Founded over 60 years ago, it is one of the first grant-funded research centers at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. It is part of the university’s highly ranked public School of Education.

WCER has developed systems and processes to ensure its research projects meet the requirements of granting agencies and foundations. The center's comprehensive services to researchers minimize their involvement in administrative duties, freeing them to focus on their research.

WCER's administrative experts are adept at dealing one-on-one with staff from agencies and foundations. They provide guidance to and field questions from WCER researchers and their staff members on a daily basis. Financial staff and professional editors work closely with researchers to ensure WCER grant submissions, reports and results conform to funders' standards and expectations.

In addition to grant awards, a growing segment of WCER’s funding is generated by the sale of research-based products and services through the Wisconsin Center for Education Products & Services.
