Karen Bach
Educator Outreach Representative
Karen Bach has been an educator outreach representative in the WIDA Client Services Center since 2017. She handles communication and correspondence from administrators and teachers, providing crucial information on WIDA assessment tools, training, and services.
Before her current position, she worked for five years in the WIDA Research and Standards Departments in an administrative role, arranging travel, coordinating events, projects, and meetings in accordance with UW and state policies, and assisting staff with research documents and other publications.
Karen has over 40 years of experience working in a wide variety of positions. She has worked in administrative positions for several organizations, as well as in the printing and publishing industry, as a typesetter/desktop publisher, owner/operator of a graphic arts and printing business, and in the ad production department for a newspaper.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in education (concentration: business) from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL, an Associate's degree in business management from Blackhawk College, Janesville, WI, and a Master’s Certificate in project management from UW–Madison.
