Joy Pfeiffer
WIDA HR Specialist
At WIDA, Joy leads comprehensive recruitment campaigns, HR projects and policy implementation, and leads content development for WIDA's Manager's Learning Community (MLC), enhancing support for multilingual learners through effective HR strategies.
Joy has a BS in Elementary Education with minors in ESL and Spanish from UW-Stevens Point. Her transition from teaching to HR work underscores a passion for supporting educational initiatives and fostering cross-cultural understanding. Prior to joining the HR team, Joy served as an English teacher with the JET Program, Math Interventionist, and AmeriCorps Site Coordinator, demonstrates her commitment to educational excellence and program leadership. With the addition of a Project Management Certificate, she brings a blend of HR expertise and educational background to drive inclusive practices and foster a supportive work environment.
