Christine Bell

Evaluator

Christine Fabian Bell, M.S., is an Associate Researcher and Evaluator. She began her position with WCER in 2014 providing internal and external evaluation services for higher education programs. Christine is experienced in using mixed methods to evaluate training programs and professional development for faculty and staff. She has experience with evaluation requirements for NSF, NIH, HHMI, and other funding organizations. She has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sociology and Rural Studies from South Dakota State University.

Work with Christine:

  • Christine collaborates with program leadership and developers to write evaluation plans for grant proposals.
  • Christine builds logic models, theory of change models, and designs evaluation plans aligned with a project’s specific aims and objectives to improve learning in higher education and other institutions.
  • Christine supports continuous learning and improvement of programs by providing formative evaluation and feedback about progress toward goals and making useful adaptations during program implementation.
  • Christine collects and analyzes data to assess the efficacy of programs and provides results to leadership and funding agencies.
  • Christine ensures the ethical treatment of human subjects, the confidentiality of data, and the highest standards of practice in evaluation.
  • Christine can help programs disseminate evaluation findings if publication is a goal.
