Alessia Marigo

Alessia Marigo, PhD, develops and implements simulation and automation technologies to enhance professional learning and assessment. With a deep understanding of educational standards, psychometrics, and the application of technology in education, Alessia designs and develops cutting-edge assessments, from traditional formats to complex performance tasks and simulations. Passionate about creating interactive, engaging, and accessible learning experiences, she leverages technology and AI to build large-scale solutions, including scenario-based tasks, digital learning modules, and AI-powered feedback systems.
Alessia's experience spans K-12 leadership (STEM Dean, LEAP Academy Charter School) and large-scale assessment development (ETS). Her work has focused on aligning curricula to Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards, as well as creating innovative assessment and learning materials. She holds a BS in Mathematics and a PhD in Robotic Engineering from the University of Pisa, and has a background in applied mathematics research.
